I am gearing up to start the Whole 30 plan. My weight is currently 231 pounds. Its been holding there for almost 2 weeks. I’m in ketosis, but feeling pretty sluggish, tired and wired from too much coffee, irregular sleep and not enough exercise. In short, my paleo plan needs a reboot! Inspired by the success of Hank at the Low Carb Journey I have decided to start a solidly clean eating plan!
I plan to report in at least once a week (and likely more often) on my progress. The Whole 30 plan recommends no weigh ins for the month so I am tucking the scale away and following that advice. I always get caught up in the scale numbers so this is a welcome change.
I am setting a fun goal for myself – to get under 200 pounds in 30 days. I haven’t been there in a decade. Its a milestone I would be so happy to reach. I know it will keep me motivated and on track! I will also take photos the first morning. I will be posting those at the end 30 days, which will also be a huge motivation. I’ll give myself a day or two more with coffee and cream… and then its time to start!
